Drug induced homicide arrest made


The Bloomington Police Department and the McLean County Coroner’s Office have completed an investigation related to the death of Brandyce Mrazek, 30, of Bloomington.

The investigation began July 2nd of 2018 when Mrazek was found deceased at her residence in the 300 block of East Mulberry. An autopsy was conducted the same day by a Forensic Pathologist at the McLean County Coroner’s Office.

The subsequent investigation has led to the arrest of Stephanie Mangan, 26, of Bloomington for the Drug Induced Homicide of Mrazek. Mangan was taken into custody on November 20th, 2018. She is currently being held at the McLean County Jail in lieu of posting $1,000,000 (10% rule applies).

While an arrest has been made, the investigation is still considered ongoing. Additional information will not be made available at this time.
