PONTIAC – The Pontiac Indian football team is now 2-0 for the year after defeating Tolono Unity 20-10 Friday night.

It was a special night at PTHS as the school recognized the 25 year reunion of the 1993 Class 3A state football champions. Players, coaches, managers, cheerleaders, administrators and media representatives who covered that champion team were honored at half-time and will be recognized during other festivities planned throughout the weekend.

A community social is planned for Saturday (Sept. 1) from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Pontiac High School commons area. Members of the public are invited to a meal. A formal presentation begins in the school auditorium at 6:15.
