Relay raises over $255,000
NORMAL – This year’s McLean County Relay for Life raised more than $255,000 and the money continues to come in.
The weekend total may have been short of the event’s $305,000 goal, but money will still be counted through the end of August which is the end of the McLean County Relay for Life Fiscal Year.
Last week’s Relay included over 50 teams with around 1,000 people along with hundreds of caregivers and cancer survivors. It was the first year the event was held at The Corn Crib in Normal, which is where the Normal Cornbelters baseball team plays.
