Four hit by gunfire in double homicide
On Sunday, June 10, 2018 at approximately 1:09 a.m., the Bloomington Police Department responded to the area of 1221 Orchard Street, Bloomington, to investigate multiple reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims (one male, one female) who were declared deceased at the scene. Two additional victims (one male, one female) were found to have non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The surviving victims were transported to area hospitals. All victims were adults. The identity of the victims is not being released until the Office of the McLean County Coroner makes their notification to next of kin.
