Red Carpet Corridor festival coming

The 12th annual Red Carpet Corridor Festival will take place on Saturday, May 5th, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

On that day, in each of the 13 communities that make up this 90-mile stretch of historic Route 66, there will be all sorts of special events to celebrate the Mother Road. Included in the mix are car shows, live music, great food, contests, museums, give-a-ways, flea markets, games for the kids, and much more.

Pontiac will once again hold the outdoor "Trunkin Treasure Sale" downtown. There's always a ton of cool stuff for sale - new and used! And the Illinois Route 66 Hall of Fame and Museum, as well as our three other museums, will be open all day - 9 am to 5 pm. Join us in the evening for a musical concert at the Eagle Theater.
