Parking deck death reported
On Monday, February 26, 2018, at approximately 6:05 a.m., Bloomington Police officers were conducting foot patrols in the downtown area, when they discovered a body in the Market Street Parking Deck, 202 West Market Street.
Representatives from the McLean County Coroner's office responded to the scene and pronounced an adult male deceased at 6:45 a.m. The name of the decedent is being withheld at this time pending notification of family. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, February 26, 2018.
There is no indication the death is suspicious in nature at this time. Final determinations will be made after an examination by a Forensic Pathologist.

The investigation is ongoing and no further details are available at this time. No other suspect(s) are being sought in connection with this case and there is no reason at this time to believe, there are any threats to public safety.
