Bloomington Police make cocaine arrest

On Tuesday, February 13, members of BPD’s Vice Unit, Street Crimes Unit, and a BPD Detective assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Task Force concluded a drug investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics.
As a result of this investigation, Jason E. Andrews, age 39, of Bloomington was arrested for multiple counts of Manufacture/Delivery of other amount of Narcotic Schedule III Drugs, multiple counts of selling Narcotic Schedule I/II near a School/Housing/Park, Manufacture/Delivery of Cocaine near a School/Public Housing/Park, and Manufacture/Delivery of 1-15 grams of Cocaine.
Members of BPD's Vice Unit, Street Crimes Unit, and DEA arrested Andrews near the area of Mason and Market. Currency and evidence of drug distribution were seized as evidence.
Andrews was transported to the McLean County Jail.
