Shots reported near Veterans Parkway
On Saturday, February 3, 2018, at approximately 5:05 p.m., Bloomington Police Officers responded to the 2100 block of North Veterans Parkway for a report of shots fired.
A 25-year-old female reported she was parked inside of her vehicle, along with an adult male and a child. An unknown black male approached her vehicle, displayed a handgun towards her and she heard several gunshots.
Officers arrived in the area and a witness reported hearing several gun shots and a black sedan speeding through the parking lot. The vehicle was last seen driving north through the lot.
During a subsequent canvass of the area, several shell casing were recovered.
No injuries were reported at the scene and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
