Former school leader charged

A former superintendent for Pontiac’s District 429 was charged with criminal sexual conduct involving a minor in South Carolina.

Numerous media outlets reported Monday that Kevin Lipke, 46, was charged with the single count back in November. Lipke resigned from his position in Pontiac back in 2014. He was placed on leave prior to his resignation.

Lipke currently faces no criminal charges in Illinois. He is currently free on bond from the South Carolina case. Lipke most recently worked as a manager of a convenience store, according to online information.
