El Paso woman dies in crash

HUDSON – A 29-year-old woman from El Paso was pronounced dead Monday following an accident involving an automobile and semi tractor-trailer.

McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis reports Kacee L. Vassallo died of multiple blunt force injuries due to the collision. Vassallo was a passenger in the automobile and the driver was treated at an area hospital. The incident remains under investigation by State Police and the McLean County Coroner’s Office.

The crash occurred on the southbound lanes of Interstate 39 near mile marker 7.5 at Hudson.
