2 arrested on weapons charges

On Monday afternoon, the Bloomington Police Department's Street Crimes Unit arrested Daejon Johnson, 19, of Bloomington and a 16 year old Bloomington male, without incident, from a traffic stop near the intersection of Clinton St. and Walnut St.
As a result of the traffic stop, two loaded pistols and cannabis were seized.
Johnson was arrested for: Aggravated UUW / Vehicle / Previous Conviction Unlawful Use of Weapon (UUW) / Felon / Parole Unlawful Use of Weapon / Felon / Prior Firearm Offense Aggravated UUW / Loaded Firearm / FOID Invalid/ Not Eligible Manufacture / Delivery Cannabis 10-30 grams Possession of Cannabis 30-100 grams Bond was requested for $250,000 - 10% to apply.
The 16 year old was arrested for: -Armed Violence (Category 1) -Manufacture / Delivery of cannabis 10-30 grams -Possession of a firearm by a felon -No Valid DL
